Health Care Consulting Services CATASTROPHIC MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT: A collaborative process, which evaluates treatment options and services. Our health care consultants who are Registered Nurses provide services. They assist the patient, family, and insurer in identifying and accessing necessary services. When a referral is assigned, a health care consultant works with the patient to educate them about their health care needs while facilitating communication between the patient, the physician, and other medical providers. We also ensure that appropriate and dependable support services are in place prior to case closure. We provide onsite case management services in New England and provide telephonic case management services on a national basis. We have working relationships with a network of quality private case management firms and can make referrals outside our service area when our telephonic intervention indicates an onsite assessment is needed. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING: If you are a self-insured employer, third party administrator, a group health or disability carrier, call us and we’ll assist you in developing referral criteria, guidelines, and outcome studies for existing and potential internal case management programs. Through a careful analysis of your business needs, we can create a program to help you achieve your specific case management and cost containment goals. CASE MANAGEMENT ADVISORY SERVICES: Our clinical and case management expertise, as well as our experience with group health, workers’ compensation, and long term disability insurance coverage allows us to offer consultation services to both in-house and external case managers to help them enhance their baseline knowledge of catastrophic illness and injury and case management protocols. The case management advisor also provides patients, families, and providers with resources and information.
